For best results we recommend uploading jpg or pdf files with 300dpi resolution. Lower resolution or smaller files can be uploaded, but there may be a small reduction in print quality. We will get in touch with you if the file you have uploaded cannot be used.
Images uploaded must also match the size or aspect ratio of the item purchased. If the size of the image and the size of the item do not match, we will crop the image as we see fit if there were no further instructions provided.
We can still print them, but there may be a reduction in quality. Please do not use thumbnails or screenshots. To ensure better quality, take/save your photos in the highest resolution available in your phone.
Please use “option – download” rather than “right click – save”, or taking screenshots of the photo. This will ensure that the biggest available resolution is downloaded. Please do not use thumbnails or screenshots.
GSM is the thickness of the paper, so the higher the GSM the thicker the paper. GSM stands for grams per square metre.
Some examples of GSM are: 150G SM is paper, 200 – 260 GSM is a thin card and 300 GSM is a thick card good for business cards and postcards.
Digital Printing (Print on Demand) and Offset printing uses papers with this varying types of thickness.
Commercial printing press cannot print to the edge of a sheet of paper. It is impossible to cut exactly to the edge of your design so a little overprint (or bleed as it is called) is required on each side. For most printing jobs we require bleed (3 mm). For offset printing, it is 2 mm all sides.
It depends on the type of printing job. For photo prints, you could claim your prints within an hour. Most in-house digital printing jobs could take 3-5 days, 1 week for regular picturebooks (printing and binding) and 2-3 weeks for offset printing.
We have framing, cintra board mounting, sticker diecut services and personalized picturebook making.
